The CenDel Foundation held its 2nd Annual Dueling Piano Event on Friday, May 12, 2023. The event was held at Evergreen Farms with musical guests the Philly Keys! Over 200 attendees came together to raise funds for the Community Impact Initiative. The CenDel Foundation is incredibly thankful for its supporters who made this sold-out event a success.
Evergreen Farms provided the perfect backdrop for guests to enjoy music, drinks, and local cuisine from local businesses such as Taco Jardin and Woody’s on Wheels. The Philly Keys, a duo of pianists based out of Philadelphia, PA, are known for their versatility, musicianship, and ability to play to the crowd! Eventgoers were able to interact with the duo during the sing-along, request their favorite songs, and dance.
Samantha Hajek, an attendee of the event, mentions, “After years of Covid canceling local fundraisers, the dueling pianos event was the first event I have attended that was reminiscent of pre-Covid times. The music was lively, the food was delicious, and the open-air venue couldn’t have been more perfect. This is an event that will be on my calendar every year from here on out. “
A special thank you to our event sponsors: L & W Insurance, Delaware Electric Cooperative, and Delaware State News, as well as our Corporate, Steinway, Gallery, and Parlor Grand sponsors and all of those that made the event possible. Stay tuned for more information regarding the 3rd Annual Dueling Pianos event in 2024!
