Excellence in Education Grants Available!
Applications are now being accepted from schools, nonprofits, and civic/community organizations for programs that help to foster workforce development initiatives in Kent County.  The application deadline is Thursday, June 30, 2022.   To be eligible, the organizations must be public institutions and qualified 501(C) 3 nonprofits with proper documentation of nonprofit status from the IRS.   Grant requests must be submitted on a 2022 Excellence in Education app ... READ MORE

Nonprofit organizations throughout Delaware are invited to apply for grants from the Kent County Fund for the Arts (KCFA), a fund administered by the CenDel Foundation. The Dr. C. Edward Graybeal Scholarship will open to Milford High School graduating seniors on January 3, 2022, who have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.   The CenDel Foundation is proud to announce the 2022 scholarship recipient from the Dr. C. Edward Graybeal Scholarship Fund. Milford High School senior Olivia Muir was awarded the 2022 scholarship. Dueling Pianos Comes to Dover!   The CenDel Foundation held its first Annual Dueling Piano Event on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at the Harvest Ridge Winery with musical guests the Philly Keys! CenDel Partnership Brightens the Holidays for Kent County Families!
The CenDel Foundation has collaborated with the owners of the Rachel Leigh (Gentsch) Baynard Memorial Fund to provide Christmas presents for 50 needy families in Central Delaware.  The Rachel Leigh (Gentsch) Baynard Fund was founded by Richard and Sue Gentsch in memory of their daughter Rachel, who passed away eight years ago — the Fund’s goal is to help people in need in Central Delaware. The Benjamin Potter Charity Trust, a fund administered by the CenDel and Delaware Community Foundations (DCF), has been named a 2019 Shining Light Award Winner by the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition (DBCC).
