Excellence in Education Fund - Deadline: Grant Cycle Closed!
The Excellence in Education will award over $15,000 in grants in 2022. Applications are now being accepted from schools and other organizations for programs that help to foster workforce development initiatives in Kent County. Organizations that qualify for the grant must be public institutions and/or qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations with documentation of non-profit status from the IRS. The Excellence in Education was created in 2019 through a generous contribution by -the statewide workforce, as well as the support of members of the Kent Economic Partnership, Greater Kent Committee, Delaware State News, and the Kent County community. The Fund's assets are managed by the CenDel Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and are administered by the Excellence in Education Advisory Board. Click here for more info |
Community Impact Grants Available! - Deadline: Grant Cycle Closed!
Early Education programs are encouraged to apply for funding through the Community Impact Fund, an initiative of the CenDel Foundation. The grant cycle will award up to $10,000 in funding for programs that support early childhood education that focuses on activities that aid with cognitive, social, and/or emotional development in preschool children. click view/print for the application. |
Parkview RV Family Scholarship Fund - Deadline: Grant Cycle Closed!
The Parkview RV Family Scholarship Fund is provided to graduating seniors at Smyrna High School who have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Award selection will be based on a combination of community service, good character, and personal recommendations from school faculty or staff. |
Kent County Fund for the Arts - Deadline: Grant Cycle Closed!
Kent County. The Kent County Fund for the Arts will award about $20,000 in grants in 2021. Applications are now being accepted from schools, clubs, and civic/community organizations for programs that help to foster growth of arts organizations in Kent County, as well as those organizations that support the arts. ![]() |
CenDel COVID-19 Community Response Fund - Deadline: Grant Cycle Closed!
The CenDel Foundation has launched a new fund dedicated to assisting Kent County nonprofits as they respond to the COVID-19 crisis. The CenDel COVID-19 Community Response Fund will offer grants to nonprofits in central Delaware that are aiding those struggling during the pandemic. To be eligible for funding, organizations must have a 501 (c)(3) status and must provide vital services to Kent County children, seniors or low-income residents. These services include, but are not limited to, food and nutrition, medical care, housing, assistance to Delawareans who are struggling to pay their bills and educational help for students learning from home. Grant applications are due by April 30th. Grant recipients will be notified by May 10th and will receive funding as soon as possible. Each grant will total up to $2,000. The Dr. C. Edward Graybeal Scholarship is provided to graduating seniors at Milford High School who have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Award selection will be based on a combination of community service, good character, and personal recommendations from school faculty or staff. |
