The  CenDel Foundation celebrated the award recipients for the 2022 grant program that were announced during a dinner event on November 2^nd at the Delaware State Fair Exhibit Hall.   The Excellence in Education was created in 2019 through a generous contribution by -the statewide workforce, as well as the support of members of the Kent Economic Partnership, Greater Kent Committee, Delaware State News, and the Kent County community. The Fund's assets are managed by the Cen Del Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and are administered by the Excellence in Education Advisory Board.  The purpose of the fund is to provide schools, colleges and institutions funds to increase workforce development by providing instruction and education in Central Delaware.
