Kent County Fund for the Arts holds Luncheon!
 
 
The Kent County Fund for the Arts (KCFA), a fund of the CenDel Foundation, granted more than $24,300 in art awards in July.  The 2017 recipients were: Cancer Support Community of Delaware, C.E.R.T.S, Delaware Choral Society, Delaware Friends of Folk, Delaware Shakespeare Festival, Delaware Symphony Orchestra, Dover Symphony Orchestra, Frederica Senior Center, Inner City Cultural League, Kent Chamber Choir, Mispillion Art League, The Children’s Theatre, The Cathedral Choir School of Delaware, The Music School of Delaware, VSA Delaware and Wesley College.
 
The Awards luncheon was held on Thursday, July 27, 2017, at the CenDel Community Building to honor the recipients for their contributions to art related programs that enhance, educate and increase awareness in Kent County.  Recipients had an opportunity to assemble and discuss their upcoming events like the Messiah, Shakespeare’s comedy “As You Like It,” and other projects.  Rosemary Twilley, the founder of the KCFA, was also in attendance to celebrate the distribution of the grants.
