Applications are now being accepted from schools, nonprofits, and civic/community organizations for programs that help to foster workforce development initiatives in Kent County. The application deadline is Friday, February 26, 2021.
To be eligible, the organizations must be public institutions and qualified 501(C) 3 nonprofits with proper documentation of nonprofit status from the IRS.
Grant requests must be submitted on a 2020 Excellence in Education application form by mail on or prior to Friday, February 26, 2021, by 4 p.m

The Excellence in Education Fund was created in 2019 to foster workforce development initiatives in Kent County. The Fund was made possible by generous contributions from the Statewide Workforce Development, Kent Economic Partnership, Greater Kent Committee, Delaware State News, and the Kent County community.
